Nicholas Stefanou
Mr. Stefanou has been involved in investment management and trading since 1984.
He holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, an MS in
Engineering from Stanford University, and a first Class Honours BS in
Engineering, University College London.
Mr. Stefanou started his professional career in San Francisco bay area as an
engineering consultant in the Nuclear and Aerospace industries. In 1986, he
joined Salomon Brothers in Bond Portfolio Analysis where he developed algorithms
and tools for trading, and conducted relative value studies in European bond
markets. In 1988, Mr. Stefanou moved to the fledgling European Equity
Derivatives group where he traded options and other products in all major
European markets. In 1994, he moved to Global Arbitrage Group, Salomon’s
renowned proprietary risk taking team, in charge of equity volatility trading.
After a long and successful career at Salomon, Mr. Stefanou left in 1997 to
